Jim Wallman has posted the Lionel Tarr Rules for Modern Warfare on his website. Jim explains that these were
written sometime around 1959, these are as published in Don Featherstone’s original 1962 book ‘War Games’ – retyped and made available to nostalgic wargamers everywhere.
Germy’s World has some nice paper models for 6mm science fiction gaming. There are tanks, drop pods, a mega drop pod and a drop ship. These would be useful for Battletech, or Reaper’s CAV, or Games Workshop’s Epic 40K.
A Near Run Thing is a set of Napoleonics rules by Peter Hunt of the Hong Kong Society of Wargamers. From the members list, it seems that Hong Kong has quite a thriving miniature wargames community.
Back to the rules: A Near Run Thing apparently once was available as a commercial set, but now is revised and available on the net. Peter Hunt writes:
