Using a standard deck of cards, Jim Wallman’s Field of Honor is:
a simple two player card game that is an abstract depiction of two armies facing each other on the battlefield. It can either be played as a simple two player card game, or as a sub-game to a more complex wargame � say a campaign where you wish to resolve minor battles without resorting to setting out model soldiers.
Blankout is a free roll and write game in which players try to fill up a grid with tetomino shapes. A roll of a die determines which shape players must use, but the shapes can be rotated to fit on the grid. The last player who can still fit a piece in, tetris-like, is the winner.
I was happy to be a playtester on this project. It’s a great game that’s reminiscent of Twilight Struggle. As a solo game, it’s a hoot. I recommend it. I backed it myself, even though I spent considerable time constructing the print and play.

Cold War Naval Battles is a free print-and-play version of the classic Modern Naval Battles card game. We played the heck out of MNB back in the day.
Tactical Game X is a modern take on the classic Panzer Leader / Panzer Blitz games, which now are pushing fifty years old. They’re still great, though, and if you love them, you might want to take a look at Tactical Game X.
