Luks Aps has a video on how to make your own washes. As teh commercial washes are fairly expensive, this is a good method.
Charles Grant’s Battle Rules
Charles Grant, one of the Fathers of Wargaming, had his “Battle” rule serialized in Meccano Magazine between May 1968 and December 1970. The magazine ceased publishing in 1980, and the company has put its contents into the public domain. You can find all the contents on the Meccano Website.
The Meccano company was established in 1908 by Frank Hornby to distribute model toys and kids produced by the company. It produced the Meccano, Hornby Trans and Dinky Toys line. The company was taken over by Lines Brothers in 1964.
