The year is 3200 and mankind’s empire lies in ashes.

The Jump Gates fell six hundred years ago, severing the links between the myriad worlds of the human diaspora.

Now, the long isolation of the Silence falls away as men and women return to the skies above their scattered worlds.

Will you be among them?

Dune Express

Dune Express is a print-and-play board game based on the 1970s era Avalon Hill game Dune. The authors write:

DUNE Express is a print-and-play boardgame. It is based on a game published in the late 70s, which was set in the well known science fiction universe created by Frank Herbert. The original game was quite complicated. DUNE Express is a community-written version of this game which is much more simple and quicker to play (hence the “express”). I chose to take these Express rules and create all the components for the game as a portfolio piece. I was keen to give it a Steampunk theme and to avoid it looking too technologically advanced.

Blaster Simple Science Fiction RPG

From the author:

Blaster is a generic SciFi RPG in the 26th century where mankind’s unity has been sundered by war and where a few good men can still make a difference.

More like Firefly and Buck Rogers (the 1930′s version) than Star Trek you will form a team of adventurers who have a small starship which they can use to explore, travel, trade and fight against the dying of the light.

As usual both the core rules and the setting are single page affairs and are completely compatible with other titles in the Dead Simple RPG series.

The AD Wars Science Fiction Rules

The AD Wars is a set of free wargames rules that are adaptation of Warhammer Ancient Battles for science fiction games. It’s interesting. You will need a copy of Warhammer Ancients to play, though. But there are a lot of copies of that out there.

Random Loot Generator For Gamma World

The Random Loot Generator produces a pdf of random objects for your characters to find in Gamma World, or other post-apocalypse games. It also would work nicely with other post-apocalypse games.
