World At War Convention, Ft. Meigs, Ohio, November 2014

Here are a few photos from my trip to the Worlds At War miniature waraming convention at Fort Meigs in Perrysburg, Ohio.

The convention was aided at getting the younger set involved, so there were quite a few kid-friendly games. Among the events: All Quiet On The Martian Front, Western Gunfight, Gangsters, an amazing Post-Apocalypse Max-Max style game, Flames of War, Saurian Safari, War of 1812 Fraser’s Farm, a War of 1912 54mm skirmish, Star Trek, a 28mm Civil War game, and a Lego Zombie Apocalypse game.

The Game of Dungeon – 1974

The Game of Dungeon is one of the earliest known variants of Dungeons and Dragons.

There’s an article on the Game of Dungeon here.

The blog Playing At The World should be of great interest to anyone who started gaming in the 1970s or early 1980s.
