Good Little Ninjas Card Game

Good Little Ninjas is a free print-and-play card drafting game. The author writes:

In Good Little Ninjas, players become inhabitants of medieval Japan. Each of the game’s seven rounds represent one day in the life of a bustling village, full of characters and opportunity.

Every day you have the chance to employ Farmers, Carpenters, Merchants and Peasants to harvest rice and construct buildings. The more daring might send Ninjas to raid the Palace Treasury, or recruit Samurai to prevent the predicted raids. You might even persuade one of the more powerful inhabitants to help you: the Daiymo, the Shogun, or even the Emperor himself!

Ultimately, the player who best uses their cunning to gain the most coins wins the game.

Tactical Gamex: Alternate Rules For PanzerBlitz and Panzer Leader

Tactical Gamex is an interesting project. In it, the author attempts to update the rules for Avalon Hill’s classic PanzerBlitz and Panzer Leader:

Tactical GameX is a new interpretation of the classic Avalon Hill games PanzerBlitz and Panzer Leader. An effort has been taken to bring the play of these games into the 21st Century. Rather than moving all units at a time, players swap impulses, moving an unknown number of units at a time. There are also options to turn the game into a card-driven system complete with random events.

My inspiration for creating this new rules set was the vast (and I do mean vast!) number of supplemental units and maps created by the folks at the Imaginative Strategist. The goal was to create a system that was fully backward compatible with the classic games, but provide a more interactive and suspenseful experience with the option to play with armies from all the nations fielding substantial armies during World War 2.
