It was the 200th anniversary of the great mans birth this month..so I thought something up.
A Hamel..is a camel,
with the head of a horse.
A Corse..is an animal
the other way around…of course!

I could see both of those as evolutionary results for mounts in a science fiction set far in the future using original Earth stock transferred to distant colonies.  After my initial repulsion, I think I like them.

I liked the Hamel straight off, it looks prehistoric, like an early horse. But the Corse is just butt-ugly!  Though there are even uglier animals in real life.

The Corse kicks butt!  Imagine it in full armor with acid spit.  I want one.
